Have a look at our finished carbon-fibre spars!
Getting here was not an easy ride: countless hours were invested in perfecting our wooden moulds, followed by carefully laying-up carbon fibres and curing for a whole day.
Many challenges arise when transforming ideas from paper to reality. For example, the fibres in the spars were falling apart in thin regions. Putting on our problem-solving engineering hats, we decided to use good ol' tape that resolved the issue.
