Our team comprises 18 talented university students, most of which coming from the Delft University of Technology, Aerospace Engineering tracks.
The board members support the organization of our work and our designs, while all other team members mainly specialize on the design of one particular subsystem of the UAV, structures, aerodynamics, electronics, and so on.

Since some of the subjects at BSc AE are too theoretical for me, I sought a place where I could see the theory put into practice. Being part of Lambach aircraft allows me to see the practical side of studying engineering.

I am very passionate about innovation and I’m very intrigued about what the future will look like. I would like to learn more about the team dynamics of an engineering project, that is why I joined Lambach. This is the perfect place to put my creativity to use.

I love the parallel learning experience that student teams offer to the course curriculum, and found Lambach aircraft to be a perfect opportunity to test my competence in the trinity of aircraft structures – the structure, manufacturing method and the material.

One of my core values is the need for creation. Lambach has long been a place for thriving amongst brilliant people, having numerous opportunities to design, build and otherwise create many different things whilst learning from people who have experience in different fields.

Ever since I was young, I’ve enjoyed everything (I mean it, everything!) even remotely related to aviation. With Lambach, I was given the chance to design UAVs myself, but also to learn a lot about manufacturing. I can proudly say I now have a feel for the ease of manufacturing when I work on a design. I’ve been in the society for several years now, which allowed me to gain experience also into running the society and the projects. I’m the ‘go to’ person in the team for scheduling, resources management or pretty much anything else!

Aircraft are nice, but have you ever tried designing one?
I am a big fan of creating a good feeling and understanding of what theory looks like in practice. A fundamental approach to understanding and engineering can result in better designs and system performances. I believe that Lambach can give students this feeling through the UAV design process.

I am obsessed with anything that flies, that is why I am doing aerospace engineering. By joining lambach I can apply the material to real world applications and just have fun

I am a first year student at the TUDelft and I have been interested in scientific topics since a very young age. My interest for this project was to encounter a more practical side of engineering and have fun building something that flies.

Passionate about aviation, UAVs, electronics, and engineering in general. Love to tinker with Electronics, 3D printers, etc… I joined Lambach to see the theoretical concepts I learned during the BSc and MSc come to life, while working together with fellow students that share the same passion for engineering

I love to apply my (nurturing) theoretical knowledge to understand (or rather ‘guestimate’) the physical world around me. Being part of Lambach has provided a fantastic opportunity to apply the classroom content of aerospace into literally building an aircraft!

Student teams are a perfect place to learn new things and gain practical experience, especially in Engineering. I had the opportunity to work in a Team during the Bachelor and wanted to repeat this experience also in the Master. Lambach has turned out to be a nice place to grow from a professional point of view.

I have a passion for aircraft and would like to help designing them. The theoretical knowledge I gained during my BSc and MSc programmes at TU Delft helps me in doing so, but being part of Lambach allows me to tackle practical problems as well; it makes the theory come alive.
